I Broke My RSS Feed

4 Comments 20 March 2008

flamocon_190h.gifI am one of those people that absolutely hates it when I can’t do something myself and this last weekend was no exception.

When I made the switch to Wordpress several weeks ago I realized my Feedburner account was not being updated properly. Unfortunately for all of us, Brian out of town, and I decided to try and fix this problem myself. This turned out to be a bad decision on my part because, evidently, I broke it. Instead of changing my Feedburner account to Wordpress, I deleted it. Oops.

Anyway, long story short, Brian is back and my feed is fixed. Thank-You Brian! If you have already subscribed to Social Media Mom before I hope you will take the time subscribe again to this new feed, as the original feed is obsolete, and please know that I am working on being patient when Brian is out of town.

  1. You’re welcome. Be nice to your feed this time :)

I feel the same way. I’m off for spring break with my son, and while he’s playing, I’m working on redoing my church’s web site (in WordPress). Every time I try to do something in the code on the theme I’m using, I screw it up. Grrr. Just can’t make this theme do what I want without help, I guess.

Anyway, congrats on getting the feed fixed.

Thanks Kurt and have fun with your son on break. My kids have been on break all week and I’m about to strange them all.

  4. Kristin, download Feedburner’s Feedsmith plugin and your subscribers will all get your Feedburner feed in the future.
